We all know the Legendary Physicist Albert Einstein, who has given us many valuable theories and contributions to the world of science. Albert Einstein had an unnaturally high level of I.Q, and he is still known to all of us as one of the Father of Physics including Galileo Galilei and Sir Isaac Newton, all contributing in their fields.

There are things unknown to most of the people. Besides science and technology stuff, Einstein was also a brilliant mind personality and what not…. out of which some of them as listed below.

1. Einstein had a friendship with Fritz Haber, aka ‘The Father of Chemical Warfare.’

So, Who is Fritz Haber?

Haber was a close friend of Einstein and a well known German chemist. He invented the deadly Chlorine gas during the crisis of World War 2. His discovery of toxic gas and death of countless people was one of the reasons responsible for his nickname as The Father of Chemical Warfare. Haber had also received Nobel price for his invention of Haber-Bosh process.

2. Albert Einstein’s Second son was mentally sick

The second son of Einstein, Eduard, was mentally unwell, and he was institutionalised for most of his adulthood for treatment. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia, a mental diseased which causes hallucination and see altered reality. He died in a psychiatric clinic at the age of 55.

3. His second wife, Elsa was his cousin

The second wife of Albert, Elsa had her maiden name, Einstein. Not just from the mother’s side but Albert and Elsa were both first cousins and second cousins from their parental sides.

But, How?

The mother of Albert and mother of Else were siblings. Their Fathers’ fathers were brothers too meaning Elsa’s father and Albert’s father were cousins.

4. He was born abnormal – His family thought that he was mentally retarded

Not much of the reality but being born with a big head and a fat body. His parents thought that he was mentally retarded or born abnormal as he didn’t speak at the age other normal people speak.

During all his childhood, he spoke very little and only practised speaking in his head or subtly without anyone listening to him.

5. His brilliant mind had poor memory capabilities

Unlike his I.Q, his memory was not quite as good. Although It seems unusual that a brilliant mind didn’t even remember the dates and also phone numbers, he once responded, “Dates and Phone numbers are not worth saving in mind, there are more superior things to learn and take care of”. The didn’t care much of other things rather than his love and devotion for physics.

6. His Last sentences were never known to the world

He died at Princeton Hospital on April 18, 1955 due to a ruptured aneurysm. He refused the surgery treatment and replied,

“I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share; it is time to go. I will do it elegantly.”

Just Before his demise, he spoke his last words to a nurse. But as he spoke in German, those words were never found to the translated and became a mystery.

7. His Brain is still stored safely in several pieces

Albert Einstein‘s brain was dissected within seven and a half hours of his death. For research, his mind was carved into 240 pieces and preserved in a museum.

8. A pathologist stole the part of his brain after his death

Thomas Harvey, the pathologist who did the autopsy of Einstein’s dead body, stole some parts of his brain without the consent of officials for more than decades.
